My Current Must Haves AND Giveaway!!

***Congratulations, Yesenia Aguilar!!***

I'm a shopper. I cannot deny it, I am who I am. Naturally, I've found some amazing companies along the way. So, I am pretty excited to be able to share my latest obsessions with you all. They're really really good!!

And the best part? I'm giving them away!

I'm absolutely loving fragrances this summer! I came across NOTE Fragrances, and I've been wearing their Coconut Sugar. It fits with my usual favorites: fruity gourmand.
You just can't be in a bad mood while wearing this playful fragrance! It has notes of red berries, kiwi, peach, coconut milk, basmati rice, freesia, white musk and vanilla bean. It's absolutely delicious!
NOTE has lovingly provided a 30 ml bottle of Coconut Sugar for my giveaway. They're also offering 20% off any bottle using the code PREPPY.
You can find NOTE by clicking their links above, or on social media at @NOTEfragrances.

Of course, there is always a headband of some sort in my favorites! When I worked at a private school years ago, the girls did a skit portraying the teachers. Of course, "I" wore a headband and twin set. Hmmm...I guess it's part of the Preppy Mom uniform. How cute is this Beachgirl Bands Stripe and Flower Performance Adjustable Headband?

These headbands are amazing. They are adjustable, non slip, and they are adorable!! They come in so many cute patterns and colors. I love this pink floral, but there are many cute Beachgirl Bands to choose from! If you want 10% off at Beachgirl Bands, you can use code PREPPYMOM.

You can find Beachgirl Bands by clicking on any of these links, or on social media at @beachgirlbands (or @_beachgirlbands on Twitter).

I am absolutely obsessed with coconut oil. You can use it for so many things, and it is amazing for your skin (among other things). Skinny & Co. Coconut Oil is the only original raw 100% alkaline coconut oil in the world. It is wild-harvested and handpicked. Skinny & Co. is 100% raw coconut oil that has been cold-processed.

Coconut oil can be used as a moisturizer, a hair conditioner, in smoothies, and in place of butter or cooking oils. It has made a big difference for my skin, which can get so dry and itchy. There are over 100 uses for this coconut oil-seriously!

Read more about Skinny & Co. by following the links to their website, or on social media @skinnycoconutoil (or @skinnyandco on Twitter).

Preppy stickers are always a given. I'm including Vineyard Vines, Ashton Brye Collection, and Sand Cloud stickers in my giveaway.

Cosmetics and skincare are my addiction. Seriously-it's a problem. I'm always looking for something new and fantastic. If you love cosmetics, you've probably seen Smith & Cult Lip Laquer Her Name Bubbles and ColourPop Churro highlighter.

Smith & Cult Lip Laquers are sheer, but have buildable color. Coconut oil is one of the ingredients (already established that I love coconut oil), so it is soothing and moisturizing. Her Name Bubbles is a beautiful sheer peachy pink. It's gorgeous, and looks fantastic on pretty much everyone.

I've already listed ColourPop as one of my favorites, and their highlighters are incredible. They have a bouncy texture, but go one so smoothly. Churro is from their limited edition tie dye collection, and is a beautiful swirl of champagne, gold and bronze. It is iridescent, and it will make your skin glow. Oh, and it is sold out (and probably won't be re-released).

You will find Smith and Cult and ColourPop by clicking on their individual links above, or you can find them on social media at @smithandcult and @colourpopcosmetics (or @colourpopco on Twitter).

Scentbird Perfume Review

I'm currently obsessed with fragrance. I've always loved it, but with fragrance subscriptions, I can try a variety of scents without committing to just one. Scentbird is a very popular fragrance subscription service that recently sent me a one month trial to review.

Scentbird has over 450 designer and niche fragrances for men and women. Subscribers get a generous 0.27 oz supply of their chosen scent in a travel-friendly spray. With their first order, subscribers get a super cute (and free), refillable case in their choice of color. Obviously, I chose pink!

When I visited with Scentbird, they asked me if I had chosen a scent. I was open to trying something new, so I asked them to select something for me to try. I was sent Juliette Has A Gun, Not A Perfume. I had heard of the brand, but I had never tried any of their scents.

When I first heard the name, Not A Perfume, I envisioned something light and airy. I normally opt for sweeter, gourmand scents, so I was totally curious about a perfume that isn't a perfume. Not A Perfume is made out of a single element called Cetalox. Cetalox is usually used as a base note, and is on trend as a minimalist scent. It is completely allergen free, which alone is a huge plus. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. Even after wearing it, I cannot easily describe Not A Perfume. It is a woodsy warm amber, but it isn't soft at all. That being said, it is still extremely pleasant. Not A Perfume has a lingering warmth, yet it is still fresh and clean. Regardless of being able to adequately describe Juliette Has A Gun, Not A Perfume, I get so many compliments when I wear it. It is long-wearing, wears nicely, and it is unique. It is definitely a scent to try.

Scentbird did a great job choosing a scent for me to try, but subscribers can "shop" a huge variety of fragrances. Whether you want to try something new, or buy extras of your favorites, Scentbird is a simple and fun way to try a new fragrance every month for just $14.95! Want 25% off? Use code PREPPYMOM25

If you'd like to explore Scentbird, you can follow any of the links in this post (they are not affiliate links, but are placed for your convenience), or you can simply go to

***I was sent a trial of Scentbird for review purposes, but was not compensated for my review. All opinions are 100% my own.***

Kidbox Review and Discount Code

Have you signed up for Kidbox yet? If not, this is the perfect time. Back to School boxes are about to be shipped! Kidbox is a subscription service that sends your kids a seasonal box of clothes. You fill out your child's profile, including personality, style and sizes. Kidbox sends your child a box of clothing, containing 5-7 pieces of clothing that you both will love. You have 7 days for your child to try things on and decide if they're perfect. If there is something that you don't like, you can return it. If there is something that doesn't fit, they'll swap it for you. After 7 days, you'll are only charged for what you keep. It's a pretty great way to shop for your kids!!

I ordered summer boxes for my boys a while back, and I've already ordered Back to School boxes from Kidbox. For summer, I wanted to make sure that my boys had play clothes, so I chose athletic style clothing.

My younger son, Hudson will be 8 in October, but he is a little short for his age (he is my son, after all). I ordered him a size 7 for tops and bottoms. Since this was our first Kidbox, I had no idea what to expect. I wasn't disappointed!

The first item in Hudson's summer box was an athletic tee by STX. It fit perfectly, and we loved it. It goes with so much, and he loves wearing it.

The next two items were by Reebok, a pair of athletic shorts and a performance tee. This outfit is awesome. It looks so cute on him, and it's a perfect summer outfit. The shorts are a tiny bit long, but since they are more of a lacrosse short, they look perfect. Hudson has spilled on this shirt a few times, and he got paint on it at camp. Unfortunately, it was always in the white area. The paint was the same turquoise color (go figure), but luckily, everything washed out.

The next item in Hudson's Kidbox was another athletic tee by STX. It is cute, Hudson loves it, and it goes with everything.

The last shirt in the summer box was another tee by STX. This was a cotton tee rather than an athletic tee. We all love this shirt. Maybe it's that it is a cotton tee, but it's just really versatile and easy to wear. My husband loves STX because it reminds him of the days when he played lacrosse. Super comfy, super cute, super studly.

The next item was a pair of shorts by Reebok. They are perfect summer play shorts. Navy blue goes with pretty much every gray or white graphic tee that Hudson owns. They are also easy to wash and comfortable.

The final item in the box was a swimsuit and rash guard set by Pipeline. The boys take swimming lessons, and they also go to a day camp that has weekly trips to the pool or water park, so these were a summer necessity. I like how the swim trunks have a little pocket that closes with Velcro. It is a good place to put snack bar money, because honestly, if put anywhere else, they would lose it!

So, Hudson's Kidbox was a huge win. We happily kept every single item. They have seriously been his summer wardrobe, and they still all look fantastic. I know that summer is coming to an end, and I am super delayed getting this out (I'm definitely busier in the summer, which surprised me a bit, but I've spent the entire summer in the car!), but the heat will still be with us for a while. We may tuck in a shirt, or opt for a different pair of shorts or shirt here and there, but all of the pieces in Hudson's
Kidbox will still get a lot of wear. He also wrestles in the winter, and many of these will be worn to practice in wrestling season.

The entire box was only $98! Plus, Kidbox makes a donation of new clothing to a kid in need when you keep the entire box. Kidbox Cares is dedicated to providing new clothing to children of needy families. You can visit for information. Pretty fantastic.

We were so unbelievably happy with Hudson's summer Kidbox, and we can't wait to see what they pack in his Back to School box. I changed his style from athletic to All-American kid for school clothes. Obviously, I recommend Kidbox without hesitation. Their clothing and choices were absolutely perfect. When you sign up for their mailing list, you'll get $10 off your first box.

If you would like to try Kidbox, you can use any of the links in this post, or go directly to These are affiliate links, and if you use them (, you'll get $25 off your first order.

Now is the perfect time to sign up for Kidbox, because Back to School boxes are shipping out. Yup-school starts in a couple of weeks...not that I'm keeping track.

***My review is 100% my own, and I was not compensated for my review. I did receive a discounted box for review purposes. It was not complimentary, and did not alter my review in any way. This post does contain affiliate links.***

WTRMLNWTR Review and Coupon Code

Have you tried WTRMLNWTR yet? It's Delicious. It Hydrates. It Rejuvenates. It's a Seriously Amazing Quench. Want to know more? πŸ‰

I find the story of how WTRMLNWTR was started to be fascinating. In 2013, founders Jody and Harlan felt the urge to make real change in the world and then use that passion for something radically different.

They focused their combined energies on a shared interest for both sustainability and healthier consumer beverages. Their brainstorming process resulted in the idea of WTRMLNWTR! They formed meaningful relationships with farmers, and were then able to utilize “discarded” melons to create what was already becoming one of the most exciting new beverages in the market. At this point, they were able to realize their combined dream of bringing a new and better product to the consumer. They created a product with the highest standard from both a consumption and sustainability perspective. WTRMLNWTR was born!

WTRMLNWTR has a super impressive list of ingredients: Watermelon Flesh, Watermelon Rind & and a teeny bit of Organic Lemon. How awesome is that??!! WTRMLNWTR is loaded with naturally occurring potassium (a key electrolyte), which is amazing for your workouts! The watermelon fruit also contains tons of L-citrulline, an amino acid, and lycopene, a carotenoid phytonutrient that’s been thought to be super important for your cardiovascular health (not to mention bone health). Basically, the concentrations of potassium (740mg), l-citrulline (520mg), lycopene (9.5mg), and vitamin C that exist in the wonderful and insanely under appreciated watermelon are really really good for you.
I sounded pretty brainy there, didn't I?

Seriously though, WTRMLNWTR is amazingly delicious. It's been a really hot summer, and WTRMLNWTR provides a super quench. It's not too sweet, but it is so so yummy. My kids love it, too.

You have to try this stuff! You can get WTRMLNWTR at Whole Foods, or you can have it cold delivered right from the company's website, Use code HYDR8 for free shippingπŸ‰
