The Perfect Duo for My Khaki Eyes

Didn't get what you wanted for the holidays? I've found several items that are gorgeous, and you can buy them yourself!

First of all, I love Beautylish. They are online, and they have new and hard to find items. I have a huge wish list with them!

I found the perfect duo for my khaki eyes. I already live Charlotte Tilbury, but I bought the eyeshadow Nocturnal Cat Eyes to Hypnotize in The Huntress for $39!

My eyes are greenish, brownish, yellowish. Officially they are hazel. I've noticed that as I get older, my eyes don't sparkle as much or stand out.

The Huntress is perfect. The color is gorgeous, the shadow and liner apply creamy and smooth. They are so beautiful, and I didn't add any other colors, except for a tiny bit of highlighter under my brows. I highly recommend this product. It also makes a beautiful smoky eye. It's stunning!

2015 Holiday Gift Idea #2

Here's my second holiday gift idea for 2015...Miansai's Screw Cuff Ring.

The Screw Cuff Ring comes in silver, yellow gold and rose gold, and in brushed and polished finishes. Personally, I prefer sterling silver. The sterling silver ring with a polished finish is $150 at

I came across this ring several months ago, and liked it so much, I mentioned it to my husband. He paid attention, and I was surprised months later, when he gave it to me for our anniversary! It's very simple, but unique. Every time I wear it, I get compliments on it. We all love that, right?

Miansai also has a bracelet and a pendant in this series.

The holidays are here, and I've been terrible about posting regularly. The days have gotten away from me, but this would be an awesome NYE ring for yourself or someone else!

2015 Holiday Gift Idea #1

Here's my first holiday gift item for 2015...The Elephant Wishing Bracelet from Stella & Dot.

I've loved cord bracelets for years. For me, they're just more comfortable than a bangle. Honestly, the first one that I fell in love with was the Baby Love Bracelet by Cartier. This Wishing Bracelet is obviously easier to come by, and extremely affordable at just $19.

As a preppy girl, I'm obsessed with pink, and I'm also loving elephants. I ordered this from my friend Tiffany Russell at Stella & Dot on Black Friday, and it's adorable. The sliding knot closure fits sizes XS-XL with a hot pink cord. The elephant and chain are a shiny gold plate.

Elephants are said to be a good luck charm, and isn't that something that we could all use a bit of going into the New Year? Buy it for a daughter, a sister, best friend or a little treat for yourself.

Katherine Gives Back

If you're anything like me, you still have major holiday shopping to do. I work for Katherine Cosmetics, a company that is very philanthropically involved.

20% of my sales through the 13th will go to Blair in Kenya. Blair in Kenya is a program that was started by a friend. He and other faculty take students to Kenya several times a year, where they have built schools, provided food and a top notch education for its students. It is very dear to my heart. To learn more about the program, please go to

Please let me know if you have any questions-this is a special week for Katherine Cosmetics. You can find us at
