The Bouqs has been generous enough to offer me a free bouquet of flowers to review for you all. I just ordered them, but here is a sneak peak. I ordered The Confetti Bouq-so colorful!

The Bouqs is offering my readers a $10 credit to order flowers for yourself or someone you love. Easter is coming up, and they have a beautiful selection.

Influenster J'Adore VoxBox

I was very excited when I heard from Influenster with the possibility that I may receive their J'Adore VoxBox. Influenster is a social networking site that allows members to give reviews and opinions of products. The more questionnaires you fill out, the more influence points you receive. Occasionally, Influenster will send products for members to review, or in this case, an entire box of products. The J'Adore VoxBox was Valentine's Day inspired.

had never received anything from Influenster, so I was so excited when I was chosen to receive and review the J'Adore VoxBox. When it arrived, I was pleased with the variety of products that they sent for me to try.

The first item that was in the box was a large bag of Hershey's Kisses. I have always liked Hershey's Kisses, because they're a little something sweet when your sweet tooth gets a craving. They're also a great little treat to give to someone you care about. I know it probably sounds silly, but I love to put a few in my boys' lunches. I don't usually pack treats, so they are usually thrilled with a "kiss" from Mom, without me writing an embarrassing note to go in their lunch boxes! I also like that they come in Valentine's Day colors!

The next item in the box was a spray bottle of Vaseline Men's Spray Lotion. I gave this to my husband, and made him promise to use it. Since we started dating sixteen years ago, and got married almost fourteen years ago, M. has upped his game as far as skincare products. My obsession has rubbed off on him a bit! He now pays attention to what he uses. Unfortunately, he has never been one to use body lotion. He has psoriasis, so he really should. The Vaseline Men's Spray Lotion is a fast absorbing, so I knew he would like it once he gave it a try. I was right! While M. uses a prescription to help his psoriasis, the Vaseline Spray Lotion really helped the condition of his dry, scaly patches. It really did help, as the patches were much less flaky, and less noticible. He said it wasn't greasy at all, and he'll continue to use it. This is a lot, as M.'s facial skin is fairly oily, and he was hesitant to use moisturizer. He did though, and he liked it! In the Summer, I'll buy him the Fast Cooling version.

The third item in the VoxBox was a pair of Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes. I am definitely a cosmetics junkie, but I've never been a huge fan of false lashes. They're also very trendy right now. I have fairly long eyelashes to begin with, but I was hoping they would make it look like I had a thicker fringe of lashes. These were easy to apply, which was something I was worried about. My eyes are quite sensitive-I can't even wear contact lenses. While I could definitely tell I had the lashes on, they really weren't bothersome at all. I could see myself wearing lashes again for a special occasion, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to try Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes.

The next items in the box were samples of Red Rose tea. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I've loved hot tea for as long as I can remember. The flavors that they sent were Lemon Chiffon and Creme Caramel. Both were amazing! I had both of them with a touch of Splenda, and enjoyed them so much. This Winter has been the worst, so I've craved hot beverages often. I will absolutely purchase both of these flavors-they were sweet, but not overly so. They smelled amazing. I'm so happy that I was given a chance to try Red Rose teas, they're already my new favorites!

The next item in my VoxBox was Frizz Ease 3 Day Straight Flat Iron Spray. I've used Frizz Ease products in the past, but I've never felt like I've achieved both straight and smooth hair that stayed that way. I've definitely never had a product that lasted for a few days! I admit that I went in a little skeptical that I would get my desired results. My hair is thick, wavy, and often frizzy. I'm constantly cutting it and growing it, and I also color it. The only time my hair looks very straight and smooth, is when I leave the salon. I'm at an in-between stage right now, and I'm always in fear of the dreaded triangle hair. I've been using this with my straightening iron for several weeks now, and it does really help. I can't achieve that stick straight hair, but that could easily be my less than perfect use of the product. It does leave my hair very shiny, and feeling healthy. I'll keep using Frizz Ease, and practice my flat iron skills to see if I get better!

The last item that was in the VoxBox was Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask. I've seen Boots products, but I've never used them. I definitely wouldn't have picked this mask as one to try, as I have pretty dry skin, especially in the Winter. I do, however, get clogged pores on my nose, so while it wasn't the directed way to use the mask, it worked well for me. I used it on my nose twice a week, and I really feel like it cleaned out my pores, and that it made them appear smaller. I have been using my blackhead tool much less as well. Based on my use, I wound recommend that someone with oily skin give this a try. I would even be too dry to use this in the Summer, as I'm SO dry and sensitive. It seems like a great product though, based on my use.

I was very excited to have been chosen by Influenster to try their J'Adore VoxBox. It was fun to try new products, to find some I love, and some that were not for me. If you don't use Influenster, you should give it a try. It's fun to take quizzes, and I really hope I'll be chosen again for another box.

*Disclaimer-I received the J'Adore VoxBox free of charge from Influenster. All my opinions are 100% my own, and I was not compensated for my review.

Sunday Social Blogger Link-Up

Tonight I'm linking up with Neely and Ashley for the Sunday Social Blogger Link-Up. I really enjoy the Sunday Social-there are fun questions, and a lot of bloggers participate. This week's questions...

1)How much time do you spend on Social Media a day?…be honest:
On the internet-way more than I should, and I'm trying to be better. It's really out of boredom. On Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest-probably an hour throughout the day. I'm a terrible sleeper, so when I can't sleep, I'm on more. Mostly Facebook.
2)How long were you reading blogs before you started a blog?
Like many of you, I started reading Ramblings of a Suburban Mom shortly after I subscribed to my first subscription box. So, probably about about 9 months or so.
3)What is your favorite kind of cupcake?
Probably chocolate with white frosting. I know it's boring, but I've never been to a cupcake only shop like Sprinkles or somewhere like that. I like watching Cupcake Wars, and I'm sure I'd love interesting flavors! I like lemon cake, so I think I'd love to try a lemon cupcake with a raspberry filling. Sounds delish!
4)Do you eat fast food?
Of course! I wish we didn't though. My favorites are on the west coast, and I miss them so much! I love Del Taco an Jack in the Box, but we don't have either one in Ohio. I remember passing Jack in the Box on the way home from bars with my roommate Miki when I was in college, and it was always the best at 2 am.
I guess 5 Guys is one of my favorites these days, if I had to choose.
5)What is the most random thing someone would find in your purse?
Oh my goodness-my bag is a black hole. I've been trying to only carry a tiny wristlet with my id, debit card and phone lately. The larger my purse is, the more I fill it. There are the usual things like lipstick, sunglasses, an iPad, etc., but there might be a random Lego minifig that the kids drop in, a dog toy, a dirty shirt that one of the boys dropped in there instead of the hamper, or something like that. If I switch bags to one I haven't carried in a long time, I might still find a binky that should have been discarded years ago!
6)What is the weirdest TV show you watch?
As parents, I think we all watch crazy tv. I will be so glad when C. is over his Spongebob obsession. I think I like Sam & Kat more than the kids do.
The strangest show that I watch is River Monsters. It's so incredibly random, especially for me. Except for the beach, I'm not an outdoorsy person at all. I wouldn't go fishing, except for the one deep sea fishing booze cruise I went on in Hawaii about 20 years ago. I can't even say why I like it, but it's awesome!

5 on Friday Blogger Link Up

Today I'm linking up with A. Liz Adventures, as well as Carolina Charm, Hello! Happiness, and The Good Life Blog for The 5 on Friday Blogger Link-Up. I've never participated with this link-up, so I'm excited! The idea is to post FIVE things that you're happy/excited about on that Friday (other than it being Friday, of course).

One-This just tickled me. It was really warm this afternoon (after a blizzard on Wednesday and Thursday...), so the boys went outside for a bit. C. realized that he had a Laffy Taffy in his coat pocket as a prize from lining up at school, so he was a nice big brother and shared with H. When I went out to get the mail, C. was reading the jokes to H. on the front steps. It was so cute!

Two-Tomorrow night is the season finale of Black Sails. I really started watching it to have something to watch while waiting for Game of Thrones to return, but it's been so good! I have no idea how they could possibly wrap up the season in one more episode, however!

Three-I got a part time job that I start tomorrow. It really isn't a huge deal, as I've been employed non-stop since I was 16 (a LONG time ago), and I have both undergrad and graduate degrees, but I've been sick since Fall, so I've been home. I'll be doing makeup artistry, which I did part time in my 20s while I taught, so it should be a lot of fun. I'll only be working about 12 hours a week, but that should be perfect while I'm still getting fully on my feet again.

Four-My sister and family get home this weekend from Istanbul. They went for Spring Break, and their itinerary was amazing, but there have been riots there this week. Obviously they're safe in their hotel, but I'll still feel better once they're back in the US. It was rainy and cold there anyhow, so I'm guessing they'll be glad to be back in Texas. My oldest nephew will be graduating from college soon, and I think my sister planned this amazing trip before he'll be working, and not quite as available to go on family vacations. I've been worried though, so I'll be glad for them to get home and to hear all about their trip.

Five-This may not be a huge deal to most people, but I think Spring is here, or at least close. I'm not a huge fan of Cleveland, especially since I spent most of my life in Arizona, but this Winter has been crazy! It always seemed like we got huge snows whenever M. was out of town on business, and I just don't like cold weather. Speaking of Spring...March Madness is upon us. I'm not a huge basketball fan, except for college basketball. I went to the University of Arizona, and they've had a great season. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they have a good showing this year!

That's about it this Friday! I love it when people stop by and say hi, so please let me know you were here in comments!

****I'm going to end with a plea for help. Another blogger pointed out to me that my blog was set to no reply. I fixed it by switching away from my Google + profile, but now when I go to follow other bloggers, it says to try again. I have to go to more options, and follow that way. That's fine, but I want to make sure my blog can be easily followed. It won't let me share without being on Google+ either. I'm actually quite tech savvy, but I'm completely turned around! Foe that matter, even my bloglovin' is backwards with my name where everyone else's blog names are...maybe it will magically be fixed in the morning, but I doubt it! Any suggestions?

The most beautiful pink and green bouquet from The! The perfect preppy flowers, right?

Thursday Thoughts Blogger Link-Up

Today I'm linking up with Jen @ Ramblings of a Suburban Mom. I've been terrible about writing lately, so even though it's 1 am here, I'm still making sure to write!

-The NCAA Tournament is starting. I live in Cleveland, so there will be a lot going on here. I'm especially excited this year because I went to The University of Arizona. They've had a great season, and obviously I'm hoping for a good showing for March Madness! My husband went to Iowa State, so we have the boys' jerseys and sweatshirts clean and ready, depending on the game. Of course, they don't really know what's up, but they go along with us anyhow.

-It's been a stressful few days in our house. We have two dogs, and our Bassett/Dashchund mix bit our 8 year old last night. I never know what to do in this kind of situation. We're taking her to the vet, but my husband's instinct is to call the rescue where we got her. We did sign an agreement when we got her two years ago, that we would return her to them if anything happens. We'll see, but I would never ever want her to go to a shelter. I just don't know what will happen, and that stresses me out too. Ugh!

-I'm a huge fan of mini series and made for TV movies/cable series. I loved The White Queen, and Saturday night is the finale of Black Sails. I have a while to wait for Game of Thrones, but my brother recommends House of Cards and True Detective. Any others out there that I should catch up on??

-My mother got me a crock pot for my birthday. All I know how to make is Queso Dip. If you have recipes-send them my way! (

-Our weather has been nuts! On Tuesday, it was almost 60 and the boys were outside riding bikes. Wednesday/ Thursday we got snow and windchills were below zero. Tomorrow it's going to be 50. It's crazy.

-So, I used to work as the Dean of Students at an all girls' boarding school. Even though a big part of my job was to handle discipline, I still adored the girls-even if they were in trouble. Most of them are in college now, and I keep in touch with many of them. One of the girls posted something on Facebook today that literally made me laugh so hard, I had tears in my eyes. I've said I don't want to return to education, even though I've got degrees in the field and done little else. There are times like today that make me miss it so much, even though I know it would be different (different school, different students, etc). These girls were just so much fun, I worry that all others will be boring! 42 seems a little late to start a new career though...

-Have any of you seen these teeny tiny little crocheted animals? My niece loves them, and I know if I show my boys, they'll want them, too. They sell on Etsy from $20-$100+, which is crazy! In our house, the dogs would either eat them, or they would go through the wash in the pocket of a 5 year old. I could never make them because I'm not patient, I'm not craftsy, and my eyes would give out after about three minutes. They're cute though- if anyone is looking for a hobby, you could probably make a ton (before they go the way of the Beenie Baby).

-Yes, these are the things I think of. It's cold! I'm praying my husband gets a transfer back to Arizona. Cleveland hasn't exactly been an adventure. I miss the sunshine, and if I live someplace cool, hopefully that means friends will come visit.

As always-I love visitors to my blog. Comment to say hi!!

Sunday Social Blogger Link-Up

Today I'm linking up with Neely and Ashley for the Sunday Social! It's really fun, so if you haven't linked up before, grab either this button or the one from last week, and answer this week's questions on your page!

1. Biggest Middle School fashion mistake?
Middle School was a pretty big fashion mistake in general. It was the 80s! I had braces, and I wore a lot of Esprit.
In high school, we had a dress code. I pegged my jeans and wore a lot of Polos and sweaters. So many sweaters...
2. Who were your best friends in High School?
High school was a time of huge transition for me. I went to public school in Iowa in 9th grade. I still hung out with my friends from middle school, but I didn't really fit in with them anymore. Then I went to boarding school, and I really felt at home there. My roommate was Claire, and she was/is an amazing person. We would talk and laugh until our prefects got tired of coming in to tell us to go to sleep. Technically we weren't breaking any rules though, since we were in our beds and the lights were out. I was also great friends with Lesley, Maria, Dari, Cathy, Cynthia, Alex, Eliza, Allison, Sam, Scott, Jon, Dave, and Brad.
Roomies-with Claire in our dorm room sophomore year.

3. What was a typical weekend like for you in high school?
Weekends were unusual for us, because we had classes and sports on Saturdays. We had study hall on Friday nights. My grades were pretty good, so I could sign out of study hall, but there wasn't much to do-everyone else was in study hall!
With Sam and Eliza doing face masks in my room senior year.

After sports, lots of people would leave for the weekend. I went home with Dari, Cathy, Sydney and Maria some weekends, but mostly I stayed on campus. There was always something to do-sometimes they hired companies to come and do something like Jello wrestling. Generally we wound just hang out. We had co-ed visitation on weekends, which meant we could go in boys rooms or have them to ours. That was always a big deal. We cad a campus center (lovingly called the Can)- we spent a lot of time there.
4. Did you have any boyfriends/girlfriends? Tell us about that:
I did. In 9th grade, I dated Mark, who is now my husband, for about a month. Then I dated Tom for the rest of the year. In 10th grade, I dated Spencer for a while, and then I started dating Brad right after I turned 16. I dated Brad until I was 22. If I told you all about that, I could write a book. Brad was a wrestler, and was/is very good looking. He was fun. When we were good, we were great. When we were not know how it goes. Still, 7 years- there are a lot of great, fun memories there. He was a day student, so we'd hang out at his house too.
With Brad-I'm not sure when this was. By looking at my hair length, I'll guess junior year.

Senior Prom

5. Did you have any secret codes with your friends?
No- did people really do that??
6. If you could relive one day/moment/experience from middle school or high school, what would it be?
Wow! High school was just fun. I think boarding schools are just such a unique experience, and at times we had to make our own fun. Sneaking into each other's rooms to do a little tap shoe dance with a field hockey stick as your cane at 1am, sledding down the front hill on dining room trays, a big weekend in NYC for your 16th birthday.
With Cynthia-my girlfriends had a surprise party for my 18th birthday!

If I had to choose ONE though, there was a night my sophomore year in the middle of winter. It was snowing really hard, and all the power went out. The dorm parents let us out of the dorms. People were sledding, building snowmen (and other snow...things), and there was a huge snowball fight with like 200 people. I spent part of that night talking to a boy about getting back together. We ended up being great friends (and still are), so I would love to skip the angsty teenage talk, and spend more time throwing snowballs. I did quite a bit of the play part that night, but as teens we thought everything was such a big deal. It wasn't-more snowballs!

February Splendies Review

For some reason, I think it's funny that I have so many intimates reviews. I only receive three intimate type boxes, but it probably seems like that's all I get. My 5 year old son thinks it's hilarious that I take pictures of "underpants" all the time.

I signed up for Splendies about two months ago. Their subscription box is $14/month, and I pay $2 extra so that I don't receive thongs. I didn't mind them when I was younger, but now I just don't wear them. I have really liked Splendies service. They have nice customer service who respond quickly, they send quality items, and they ship quickly.

The first pair of panties I received was a pair of floral panties by Youmita. They feel like they are all spandex, but they are actually nylon and spandex. These are SO comfortable! They don't ride up, they don't show seams, and they are soft in a spandexy kind of way. I realize that might not make sense, but maybe the better way to describe them is smooth. Anyhow, these are great!

The second pair of panties I received was a silky purple floral pair by Bijou Intimates with black lace trim. These are very pretty and comfortable. I love that they don't ride up at all. I would consider these to be bikinis, which I like. I'm not a huge fan of briefs/granny panties. I'm not just saying that, I really don't like them. I probably wouldn't pick this pattern out at the store, but they're very pretty.

The third pair of panties in my February shipment was an adorable pair of boyshorts by Vision Intimates. I LOVE these! They are made out of almost a t-shirt material, they have the cutest waist band, and no I side tag. They are so comfortable, and SO cute!!

I took a picture of the back as well. How cute us this?? A back pocket! Ok, I know I'm not going to be carrying anything in the back pocket of my boyshorts, but I'm in love with these!

I received four pairs of panties in my February box. I can't remember if the extra pair was because I was going to feature them on my blog, or because my birthday was in February. Anyhow, the last pair was another pair of boyshorts by Rose Intimates. These are very different than the gray pair, as they are lacy and delicate. I've also got these in black, and they are not only pretty, but they are also comfortable. They're sexy, even though they aren't skimpy. I find these to be just beautiful.

I'm really enjoying my subscription from Splendies. Their prices are terrific, and they send a nice variety each month. If you would like to give them a try, you can click here and sign up. It is a referral link, and as always, I would appreciate it if you would sign up with the link, and my name Andrea Fleming.

***Disclaimer-This review does contain a referral link. I pay for this subscription box myself, and all opinions are 100% my own.
